When you open Amazon Prime Video on your device for the first time, you will usually see a prompt asking you to sign in or register the device. This step connects the app to your Amazon account so you can start watching your available content.
To complete the registration directly on your device, select the “Register on Your Device” option and follow the instructions shown on the screen. You may be asked to enter your Amazon login details to continue.
If you prefer using a computer or mobile browser, choose the “Register on the Amazon Website” option instead. A 5-character activation code will appear on your device screen.
Once the code is displayed, open the registration page, Amazon MyTV Device Registration Page in your browser and sign in with your Amazon account.
Enter the activation code shown on your TV or streaming device and confirm the registration. After the code is verified, your device will automatically refresh and connect to your Amazon account.
Registering your device allows you to access Prime Video purchases, rentals, watchlists, and personalized recommendations linked to your account.
